A landlord under an occupation contract may not rely on—
(a) any provision in the contract for re-entry or forfeiture, or
(b) any enactment (other than this Act or an enactment made under it) or rule of law as to re-entry or forfeiture.
A landlord under an occupation contract may not serve a notice to quit.
Accordingly any provision in an occupation contract for re-entry or forfeiture, or relating to a landlord's notice to quit or the circumstances in which such a notice may be served, is of no effect.
