129(1)

With the consent of the Secretary of State, any purchase money or compensation payable in pursuance of the foregoing provisions of this Part of this Act by a local authority in respect of any land acquired from another local authority, being money or compensation which would, apart from this section, be required to be paid into court in accordance with the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965, may, instead of being so paid, be paid and applied as the Secretary of State may determine.

129(2)

A decision of the Secretary of State under this section shall be final.
