Section 20(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 (apportionment of certain rents and other payments) has effect as respects applications for apportionment made under that section after the passing of this Act with the substitution in the proviso of "£5" for "two pounds".

The Secretary of State may by order vary the amount there mentioned.

After section 20(1) of the said Act there is inserted the following subsection—
