Section 73 of the 1977 Act is amended as follows.

After subsection (1) there is inserted the following subsection: —
62(3)
For subsection (3) there is substituted the following subsection—

In subsection (4)—
(a) after the word "If" there are inserted the words "the application is made under subsection (1) above and"; and
(b) at the end there are inserted the words "and he shall also cancel the registration if the application is made under subsection (1A) above".
62(5)
In subsection (5) after the word "Where" there are inserted the words "the application is made under subsection (1) above and".
62(6)
In subsection (6) for the words "The cancellation" there are substituted the words "A cancellation made in pursuance of an application under subsection (1) above".
