Part II: Counterfeiting and Kindred Offences

A person guilty of an offence to which this subsection applies shall be liable—

on summary conviction—
to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum; or
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months; or
to both; and
on conviction on indictment—
to a fine; or
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years; or
to both.

The offences to which subsection (1) above applies are offences under the following provisions of this Part of this Act—

section 14(1);
section 15(1);
section 16(1); and
section 17(1).

A person guilty of an offence to which this subsection applies shall be liable—

on summary conviction—
to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum; or
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months; or
to both; and
on conviction on indictment—
to a fine; or
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or
to both.

The offences to which subsection (3) above applies are offences under the following provisions of this Part of this Act—

section 14(2);
section 15(2);
section 16(2);
section 17(2); and
section 17(3).

A person guilty of an offence under section 18 or 19 above shall be liable—

on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum; and
on conviction on indictment, to a fine.
