The provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor may appoint by order made by statutory instrument.
An order under this section may contain such transitional provisions and savings (whether or not involving the modification of any enactment) as appear to the Lord Chancellor necessary or expedient in connection with the provisions brought into force by the order.
