Part 36: Offences under the Companies Acts and financial penalties
This section applies to any provision of the Companies Acts that provides that a person guilty of an offence is liable on summary conviction in England and Wales to imprisonment for a term not exceeding the general limit in a magistrates' court.
In relation to an offence committed before 2 May 2022, for "the general limit in a magistrates' court" substitute "six months".
