The following come into force on the day on which this Act is passed—
this Part;
Chapter 2 of Part 4;
sections 136 and 137 and Schedule 10;
sections 139, 140, 149, 151, 152(1) and 157;
sections 161 to 168.
The following come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which this Act is passed—
section 124;
section 130;
sections 150(1) to (3) and 153.
The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by regulations appoint.
Different days may be appointed for different purposes.
In respect of sections 181 and 183, and Schedule 15, different days may be appointed for different areas.
