Section 21: Enforcement of client money protection schemes for property agents

The Housing and Planning Act 2016 is amended as follows.

In section 134 (client money protection schemes: approval or designation), after subsection (2) insert—

In section 135 (enforcement of client money protection scheme regulations)—

in subsection (4)(e), after "for the purposes of any of its functions" insert , and" (whether or not the function is expressed to be a function of a local weights and measures authority) "
for subsection (5) substitute—5In this section "local authority in England" means a local weights and measures authority in England.
