Part 12: Miscellaneous provision about sentencing — CHAPTER 4: Assistance for prosecution etc: review of sentence

This section applies for the purposes of this Chapter.

A discounted sentence is a sentence passed in pursuance of—

section 74, or
section 388.

References—

to a written agreement are to an agreement made in writing with a specified prosecutor;
to a specified prosecutor are to be read in accordance with section 71 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (assistance by offender: immunity from prosecution).
