Part 11: Information about interests and dealings in land

The information that may (if it falls within the scope of a permitted purpose) be required to be provided under section 219 includes transactional information about instruments, contracts or other arrangements—

creating, altering, extinguishing, evidencing, or transferring relevant interests in land, or
conferring, amending, assigning, terminating or otherwise modifying relevant rights concerning land.

"Transactional information" means—

details of the parties to a transaction;
details of persons on whose behalf or for whose benefit the parties to a transaction are or were acting;
details of the terms of a transaction;
details of persons providing professional services in relation to a transaction;
details of the source of any money paid or other consideration given in connection with a transaction;
copies of documents giving effect to or evidencing a transaction.

"Transaction", in subsection (2), means an instrument, contract or other arrangement within subsection (1).
