A joint board constituted under this section shall be a body corporate by such name as may be determined by the order constituting the board, and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and power to hold land for the purposes of their constitution without licence in mortmain.

Joint committees constituted under section five of the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Act, 1921, or under any enactment repealed by that Act, shall be known as and styled joint boards and references in any Act or other document to such joint committees shall be construed accordingly.
