Regulation 12: Waiver of eligibility limit in proceedings relating to domestic abuse , female genital mutilation protection orders and forced marriage

Part 2: Determinations in respect of an individual's financial resources — CHAPTER 1: Financial eligibility limits and waivers

This regulation applies to an application in respect of legal representation in a matter described in paragraph 11 (family homes and domestic abuse) , 15A (female genital mutilation protection orders) or 16 (forced marriage) of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the extent that the individual is seeking—

an injunction or other order for protection from harm to the person; or
committal for breach of any such order.

Where this regulation applies, the Director may, if the Director considers it equitable to do so, disapply the eligibility limits in regulations 7 and 8.
