Where—
an order under CPR rule 25.6 (interim payments), or an agreement having equivalent effect, has been made; and
the Lord Chancellor considers it essential to protect the legally aided party's interests or welfare;
the Lord Chancellor must pay, or direct the legally aided party's provider to pay, any money paid by virtue of that order or agreement to the legally aided party.
