Section 78: Consequential amendments and repeals.

Part V: General

78(1)

The enactments specified in Part I of Schedule 3 to this Act and the schemes mentioned in Part II of that Schedule shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in relation thereto in that Schedule, being amendments consequential on the foregoing provisions of this Act; and in that Schedule “the 1946 Act” means the National Health Service Act 1946, and “the 1947 Act” means the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1947.

78(2)

The enactments specified in columns 1 and 2 of Schedule 4 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in column 3 of that Schedule.
