Section 25 of the National Assistance Act 1948 (power of Supplementary Benefits Commission to require provision of accommodation in urgent cases) shall cease to have effect.

At the end of Schedule 1 to the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970 (enactments conferring functions assigned to Social Services Committee) there shall be added the following entry—

In section 2 of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968, at end of paragraph (f) of subsection (2), there shall be added the words—

The enactments specified in the Schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent mentioned in the third column of that Schedule.
