In section 80F(1) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (conditions for exercising right to request flexible working), paragraph (b) (condition that employee's purpose be to enable caring for a child or adult) is repealed.
Section 80F is further amended as follows—
in subsection (1), the "and" following paragraph (a) is repealed;
in subsection (2), after paragraph (b) there is inserted "and";
in subsection (2), paragraph (d) and the "and" preceding it are repealed;
subsection (10) is repealed.
