A release from a judgment (including any writ or order imposing a charge) of part of any land charged therewith does not affect the validity of the judgment as respects any land not specifically released.
This section operates without prejudice to the rights of any persons interested in the property remaining unreleased and not concurring in or confirming the release.
This section applies to releases made after the twelfth day of August, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine.
